Age of Adaline, movie review

I wasn’t certain what to expect when I viewed this movie. The whole, “living forever” thing is something that has been a bit overdone of late. So I was skeptical this movie would have anything original to offer.

I am happy to report the movie exceeded my expectations. The acting, spot on, although the main character, Adaline, was a bit emotionless. I don’t think it was bad acting, I think that’s just how the character was supposed to be. The story, full of twists and emotional impacts. A small bit of science was added in to try to explain why Adaline wasn’t aging, it was complete “made up” stuff. But it was kept short and flowed nicely with the movie.

If you are looking for a nice romance to warm your heart, this is a good one to see.

About mizner13

Welcome to my blog! I live in Florida with my husband and our Kitty, a rescued Abyssinian. I have several novels published under the name "Nina Schluntz". I’m an avid movie goer, so most of my blog posts will be a review of the most recent movie I happened to see. Sometimes I’ll mix it up and read a book too. Or… my favorite, I’ll see the movie then read the book it was based on! View all posts by mizner13
