Not a lot to complain about in this film. You can tell the budget was big enough to not only hire good actors, but also do the special effects well. I was impressed by their ability to take the confusing tribal wars in Afghanistan and summarize it in a way that anyone can understand. So that alone, to me, makes this movie worthwhile–by this I mean the historical aspect.
There weren’t any dull moments. Those that could have been, were graced by entertaining banter, that gave the movie a very real feel. Overall this film does a great job of explaining what occurred, and keeps you engaged throughout. It should appeal to a wide audience. Those who enjoy historical and/or war movies, will be greatly pleased by this film.
